This summer, families in Abbotsford can enjoy a variety of free, drop-in early learning opportunities designed to support young children’s development through play, stories, songs, and social interaction. Programs are open to children from birth to age 5 and their caregivers—no registration required! These programs offer a welcoming space for families to connect, learn, and grow together.

We’re excited to welcome families to Summer StrongStart at three locations this year:

Prince Charles Elementary, Sweeney Centre, and Harry Sayers Elementary (subject to staff availability)

Summer Mother Goose

Mother Goose (Ages 0–18 months)

Join us this summer for free, drop-in early learning programs that bring families together through the joy of rhymes, songs, and storytelling. Enjoy gentle rhymes, lullabies, and stories designed especially for infants and their caregivers. These interactive sessions support early language development, bonding, and social connection in a fun and relaxed setting. No registration required!
